This holiday season, my family and I visited several spots around downtown Seattle to check out holiday decorations and create new holiday traditions together. Here are the places we saw and the eateries we recommend.

TEddy Bear Suite & Festival of Trees - Fairmont Olympic Hotel
Enjoy the whimsical displays and themed trees. After, indulge in seasonal fare at The George Restaurant for a delightful family meal.
Gingerbread VillagE - Sheraton Grand
Admire stunning gingerbread creations while crafting sweet traditions. Stop for lunch at Pike Place Chowder, famous for its creamy clam chowder.
SEATTLE CENTER WINTER FEST TRAIN AND VILLAGE - ARMORY
Experience magical miniature trains and create cherished memories. Grab lunch at Skillet Diner, known for its comforting and creative dishes.
HOLIDAY ICE SKATING RINK IN OCCIDENTAL SQUARE
The rink will be open Dec. 13-21 from noon-6 p.m. daily. Rink is open at no cost and skates are free to rent. Have dinner at The Pink Door after just a short walk from the rink, renowned for its cozy atmosphere and delicious Italian menu.
Candlelight Concerts - Pacific Place (6:00 PM)
Enjoy a cozy evening of free live music. Before the concert, savor dumplings at Din Tai Fung, a favorite for its authentic Taiwanese cuisine.
